- 2 1/3 cups all-reason flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons floor cinnamon
- three/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2/three cup shortening
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 3 eggs
- half of cup shortening
- half cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon maple flavored extract
- four cups confectioners' sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
