Ingredients :
- three tablespoons greater virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1 (16 ounce) can overwhelmed tomatoes
- half of cup purple wine
- half cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 6 leaves clean basil leaves, torn

- Heat oil in a big non-stick skillet over low warmth and saute garlic for about 2 minutes; be careful no longer to burn. Just as the garlic starts to show brown, put off pan from warmth. Allow pan to chill, and upload tomatoes, wine, water, salt and sugar. Cook over medium-high warmth and bring to a boil. Reduce warmness to low and simmer, protected, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in basil.
