"German almond cookies. This recipe is from my excessive college German teacher. They have been very good!"
Ingredients :
- 1 1/four cups all-purpose flour
- eleven tablespoons butter
- 2/3 cup floor almonds
- half cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- five tablespoons any taste fruit jam
Instructions :

- Mix flour and butter or margarine.
- Separate egg. Add almonds, sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk to the flour mixture. Mix to dough consistency with palms.
- Cover and chil dough for 1 hour.
- Roll and reduce into preferred shapes. Brush with egg white.
- Bake at 350 ranges F (175 ranges C) until achieved. Let cool. Spread jam on 1/2 of the cookies and pinnacle with different half.
