Ingredients :
- three eggs, gently crushed
- 1/three cup white sugar
- salt to flavor
- 2 half of cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar

- 1/2 cup rum (non-obligatory)
- 2 drops yellow food coloring (non-compulsory)
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg

- In a heavy saucepan, integrate eggs, white sugar, and salt; steadily stir in milk. Stirring continuously, cook dinner for 10 to 15 minutes over medium warmth, till combination simply coats a metallic spoon. Remove from warmth, and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Place saucepan over ice water until custard cools, and then refrigerate till chilled.
- In a chilled bowl, integrate heavy cream, confectioners' sugar, and half of teaspoon vanilla extract. Beat until stiff peaks form. Stir in rum and yellow meals coloring. Fold whipped cream combination into the cooled custard. Pour into serving bowl, and sprinkle with nutmeg. Serve right now.
